Okay so first I got a package with socks protein powder and mints thanks that stuff looks good. also I got Kelsey's package. It was a sweet package and I enjoyed the candy already but the jerky and granola bars are going with me.
Dang Its transfers and I have got the news I've been dreading. I have to leave Dilkon. It is and will be tough but I knew it had to happen eventually.. I have been in Dilkon for 7 months and it was awesome. I love the people there so much. Sunday was really hard.
I am going to Page AZ and will be serving in the 5th ward. It will be weird being around so many white people (no offence ). I am looking forward to it though. It sounds like almost everyone from Dilkon has immediate family that lives there so hope fully I can find them.
This week was a pretty good last week we saw most everyone at some point. I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to get to know all of them and hopefully to have taught them something at some point that they will remember. Because I will definitely remember what they have taught me. I had a lot of fun in Dilkon too. (probably to much, ha ha) Anyway, this week was super windy so I got a kite.... it broke in like 2 days but it sure was fun and I learned something from it.
The kite only worked with a constant wind blowing against it. and when the wind really picked up like 20- 40 mph the kite would nose dive. Then when it was at the right angle to catch the all the wind it would take off right as it hit the ground and go back up as fast if not faster then when it dove. The kite only broke when I misused it and misguided it . The string broke and it was gone and I couldn't catch it. I believe that this applies to life. We cant move forward or go up (progress) with out resistance or opposition. Also, when life blows to hard we sometimes nose dive because we weren't in the right position to take the force but once/if we adjust we often shoot back up even higher. Finally, the flyer or guide is God and unlike me when I flew the kite He wont misuse or misguide you or tie a lizard to you and see if you can still fly. He will guide you so that the wind or your life experienced will make you more like Him.
My ponderize is Mosiah 4:21 this scripture talks of how much we rely on God and how He gives us so much so we should also give to one another.
love yall
